Al-Rawdah Al-Muhammadiyah Mosque

Location: Baghdad – Al-Ma'moun

  • The mosque is located in the Al-Ma'moun area on the Al-Karkh side of the capital, Baghdad. It will be constructed in place of the old mosque, which was built in 1967, after its expansion with an additional 600 square meters, bringing the total area to approximately 1,200 square meters.

  • The old minaret has been preserved as it is, as a heritage element of the mosque and the surrounding area, being an essential part of the mosque’s identity.

  • The mosque includes a prayer hall for men, a gallery (mahfil), and a prayer area for women, in addition to classrooms for teaching the Holy Quran to children. The mosque can accommodate approximately 1,500 worshippers.
