Samail Mosque
Location: In the Wilayat of Samail, Al-Dakhiliyah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman.
The mosque is in the Lazgh area, part of the city of Samail in the Sultanate of Oman - the interior region, with a construction area of 2200 square meters. The work here belongs to the architecture of the place with its heritage and soil, an architecture that connects with the local clay (Sarooj material).
The geometric design of this mosque is devoid of arches and domes, reflecting Oman's history and its distinctive architecture. The decorations here are local triangles that show the features of handicrafts. The crescents were raised above the square minarets, and one side was adorned with a mast inspired by the traditional Omani sword that Omanis carry on occasions.
