Al Dhahli Mosque
Location: In the Wilayat of Al Hamra, Al-Dakhiliyah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman.
The mosque belongs to the land it is part of and to the heritage of the region, which I chose to finish with materials of clay and stone. In this project, I intentionally avoided overwhelming it with architectural details so that it remains a mosque for prayer only. At the main entrance of the project, the wall bears an enlarged inscription of the message of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, which he sent to the people of Oman, inviting them to Islam, and they responded and became among his people.
