Concept:
In harmony with the distinctive architectural character of Sultan Haitham City, the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority building was designed to integrate seamlessly into the urban fabric while presenting a modern and futuristic façade.
The building reflects the vital role of the Civil Defense and Ambulance Directorate by visually aligning with the common identity of government service buildings, emphasizing modernity, sustainability, and futurism. Interior services are arranged according to the approved requirements schedule, featuring an extended horizontal layout with a central void that serves as the main entrance. This entrance area is enhanced by a water fountain, evoking the Sultanate of Oman’s architectural heritage, while creating a shaded space penetrated by sunlight filtering through traditional upper mashrabiya elements, casting fragmented lines of light.
