Al Hamrah Mosque

Location: Al Hamrah, Sultanate of Oman

Design Year: 2024

Service: Religious

Status: Under Design

Architectural Style: Islamic

Concept: The mosque is deeply rooted in the land on which it stands and reflects the heritage of its surrounding region. Locally sourced clay and stone are used as primary finishing materials to emphasize this connection. The architectural expression is intentionally minimal, allowing the mosque to remain focused on its core purpose — serving as a place for prayer. At the main entrance, a prominent wall displays an enlarged engraving of the historic message sent by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to the people of Oman, inviting them to embrace Islam — a call they accepted, becoming among its earliest and most devoted followers.
