Concept:
Traditionally, Omanis perform the Eid prayer in open spaces, following the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), with men, women, and children all participating. This communal spirit is reflected in the design, which is rich in abstraction and symbolism. Crowning the cylindrical mihrab is the iconic Omani sword, renowned for its straight, elegant form—a proud symbol carried by Omanis during Eid and other national celebrations.
